Exploring Retreats
Day-long or multi-day retreats (or "sesshin") are an unparalleled way to deepen your understanding of Zen, and to connect more fully with yourself with the support of a community. Half-day "zazenkai" retreats are a great place to start.
Living Vow Zen holds retreats during early winter, early spring, and mid-summer, with additional offerings throughout the year for in-person practice which are announced via our email list.
If you are considering coming to your first sesshin, please talk to a Living Vow Zen teacher, especially if you're feeling daunted by the prospect or have questions about sesshin.
